Available Here Exclusively. Hand made in Chalfont, Pennsylvania, he stands 13 inches tall. Released in fall of 2009, this figure of Brother Washington is a wonderful companion to Brother Benjamin Franklin, released in 2007.
Washington is dressed in the authentic clothing he would have been wearing in the 1760's, and holds a gavel in his hand. His Masonic apron is a copy of the one in the collection of the Masonic Library & Museum of Pennsylvania, on permanent exhibit.. A hang tag explains: Following the American Revolution and prior to his presidency, Brother & General George Washington was Worshipful Master of Alexandria Lodge (VA) in 1789. Founded in 1783 as PA. No. 39, it transferred to the Grand Lodge of VA. becoming No. 22. Washington had a unique distinction: Last Master of PA. No. 39 and Charter Master of VA. No.22, now called Alexandria-Washington.
